ILCA - Introduction to Local Council Administration

CiLCA – Certificate in Local Council Administration
A modular evidence based qualification completed on-line. This is the minimum requirement qualification for Councils wishing to adopt the General Power of Competence (GPC) or the Quality level of the Local Councils award scheme.

Certificate in Local Council Administration 2015 (Cilca)
CiLCA 2015 
The Certificate in Local Council Administration 2015 (CiLCA) is a foundation level qualification for Clerks, local council officers and others working with Local Councils (parish, town, community and neighbourhood councils).
CiLCA 2015 is awarded at Level 3 of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), accredited by AptEd. and it is administered by the Society of Local Council Clerks (SLCC).
CiLCA is a qualification and not a training course, however ALCA provide training and mentoring to assist participants independently, keep an eye on our Training Courses to find one to suit you.
CiLCA Fee Structure
The current registration fee for CiLCA is £250.
There is no charge for the first referral. The fee for additional re-site is to be confirmed.
If successfully passed, you will be written to informing you of this, enclosing your certificate. After the appropriate storage time, your portfolio will either be returned to you or destroyed as indicated on Form 03 Portfolio Front Sheet.
