Join us online on Saturday 5 December 2026 (10:00 - 12:00) for ALCA’s 53rd AGM, with an opportunity to help shape the next chapter for your County Association. Registration is now open via our Eventbrite page.
This year’s AGM will include a member decision on proposals for ALCA to move to an incorporated structure, with updated governance arrangements to support our future work. Come along, hear what the changes mean for your council, ask questions and play your part in this important step for ALCA.
We’re delighted to welcome Justin Griggs, Head of Policy and Communications for the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) as our guest speaker. Justin will explore the national picture for town and parish councils, developments in Westminster and how NALC is working to influence decisions affecting our sector—with time for your questions.
The morning will also provide an opportunity to meet with councils from across our three unitary authority areas, reflect on ALCA’s work over the past year and look ahead to our priorities.
Attendance is free for ALCA member councils’ clerks and councillors. Register via our Eventbrite page to receive joining instructions on Microsoft Teams and make sure your council is part of the conversation.
